Release day has finally arrived!
After months of writing, editing, formatting, and researching way too many things that have probably put me on a watch list, The Present We Risk is officially available!
The second installment in the Special Agent Riley Reynolds series brings Riley and Jackson Bennett back for another case. And this time, the stakes are even higher.
Riley is ready to get back to work after nearly dying in The Past We Thought We Knew, determined to prove she’s ready to do the job she loves again.
Of course, the seemingly simple assignment for her first case back in the field is anything but.
As Riley and Jackson dig deeper, they uncover a pattern of eliminating federal witnesses. One witness is dead. Another has already survived an attack. And a third may be next.
And Riley and Jackson have to figure out who is behind the attacks before it’s too late.
Of course, there’s another complication.
Jackson has something to say.
And Riley isn’t nearly as prepared for that conversation as she is for chasing a killer.
The Present We Risk Details
Special Agent Riley Reynolds #2
If you love FBI investigations, complicated cases, slow-burn romance, strong female protagonists, and plenty of tension, you won’t want to miss the second installment of this series.
The Present We Risk is available now!
And if you’ve already read it, I would absolutely love to hear what you think. Reviews, recommendations, and messages from readers mean more to an indie author than I can put into words.
Thank you for following Riley’s journey, supporting my books, and coming along for the ride.
Lots of love,
Nicolette
